Graham Hancock & Randall Carlson On The Joe Rogen Experience

Graham Hancock & Randall Carlson On The Joe Rogen Experience

This radio interview is "thinking big."  Last post I showed the abundance and rich heritage of indigenous stoneworks in the New England area, thanks to researcher Larry Harrop's YouTube Channel.  For this post, with the link to this radio interview, we will be looking at a broader picture and fields of new data and research concerning the early origins of man (pre ice age and post ice age), breaking-new insights into the Ice Age cataclysms and how that sent humanity's progress back.

The fact is, that academics do not have a complete picture of mankind's past.  For instance they are wrong about the first use of agriculture, and the time frame for this (only going back several thousands of years according to them).  Although not talked about in the interview I'll give an example: the Banaue Rice Terraces in the Phillipines is much older than 2,000 years old, the dates given by academics.  It is more likely this rice field actually supplied a food staple to many kingdoms through-out south-east Asia and Polynesia (Oceania) in a very remote past- these are the accomplishments of a "lost" civilization that some people might call "Mu" or "Lemuria".  The Banaue Rice Terraces would cover more than half the globe, if straightened out.  This engineering feat obviously provided a food staple that reached far beyond the areas' local indigenous population.  Obviously the Rice Terraces were used by later people, such as 2,000 years ago, but the origin of the rice fields probably reach much farther back into antiquity than they are credited for (from which the later people are descended).
In the Pacific Ocean, lies an island named Nan Madol, covered with, and built from (the islands are man-made constructs) megalithic stone blocks of basalt.  These are the ruins of large structures- but this island has a purpose.  There is a strange phenomenon on Nan Madol- people report seeing strange lights, especially at night, and there are electro-magnetic disturbances off the charts.  There is a lot of superstition about this on the island, and people who sleep near the biggest ruins are said to not survive the night, with some recorded instances of this.  The strange phenomenon on the island of Nan Madol is due to the fact that the basalt structures are, most probably, actually ancient power generators (think 'green' technology to a level we don't have in our modern times), no longer in use, responsible for calming down tsunamis (weather control) that would threaten/devastate the distant Banaue Rice Fields.  And these are the remains of a series of united Kingdom States that flourished 40,000 + years ago, as impressive, if not more so, than any modern human civilization.

Now let's get back to Graham Hancock and Randall Carlson.  Mr. Hancock will be talking about Gunang Padong, which are megalithic ruins, in fact remains of a large pyramid/ temple in Indonesia that date back, according to Indonesian archaeologists and the hard data and research, to a time of 22,000- 30,000 years ago.  Gobekli Tepe will also be discussed, which are impressive megalithic ruins found in Turkey that were deliberately buried some 12,000- 13,000 years ago, a fact that mainstream academics will soon have to face.  This complex was probably an astronomical observatory, and since new evidence of an asteroid is involved in the Ice Age cataclysm that took place, the astronomers of Gobekli Tepe probably knew what was coming, so they intentionally buried their great structures of learning- this site is like a time capsule with many secrets waiting to be understood.  It is sites like the two just mentioned that show that humankind had achieved high levels of greatness and civilization in the past, and weren't just hunter/ gatherers at this stage, as academics believe.  There are other examples of great research, such as the work of John Anthony West (researcher) and Robert Schoch (geologist) in Egypt, which I have covered "In The News" so to speak, in this blog before.

However, due to the Ice Age cataclysm of 12,000 years ago the survivors of the human race were plunged into a 'dark age'.  The research and data of Randall Carlson shows that ground zero for the Ice Age cataclysm, which we now know involved an asteroid, was right in North America.  He has looked at the geological evidence for the cataclysmic event, as well as the later flooding of the ice sheets, which he will be sharing in this interview.

Some further thoughts- just because academics found a date for a use of agriculture some several thousand or so years ago around the fertile crescent, does not mean that this must be the first use of agriculture employed by people, which is what we are told to believe- and this to me is the perfect example of the fault of science and the academic communities- they will find something, and come up with a theory that is either accepted or refuted according to whether it fits with their imperical data and history of the past- what cannot be explained, as well as new evidence that will shape a different view of our past often goes ignored or unaccepted.  When the evidence and data is too large and great, they will most likely try to ignore it- and this is what we see with sites like Gunang Padong and Gobekli Tepe- when is the last time the average person has heard of these sites?  Never, really, because they don't want to publish the results of these findings in their National Geographic magazines and the like.  By and large, they have done the same thing with the stone structures of the American Northeast- they have gone ignored by academics (although not all), because they don't want to re-open their books on the culture of the Native American.

So here we go.  We're bringing it from New England to the World in this post.  here is the link to the Joe Rogen Experience radio show featuring Randall Carlson and Graham Hancock on YouTube (3 hours long)-

Enjoy!

Above is a megalithic structure, made from basalt blocks, on the island of Nan Madol.  According to researchers the islands themselves were made from the artificial construction of the basalt blocks, many weighing dozens of tons.  So here we have man-made islands of built-up basalt blocks floating in place in the Pacific.  This, as well as the fact of strange electro-magnetic phenomenon/ currents, lend credence to the theory that these are the ruins of power-generators, to calm down the devastating effects that tsunamis would have on nearby and distant islands/ lands, to protect the people/ resources such as the Banaue Rice Terraces in the modern-day Phillipines.

Youtube Videos- Larry Harrop's Ceremonial Landscapes Channel

Youtube Videos- Larry Harrop's Ceremonial Landscapes Channel

Below are links to researcher Larry Harrop's YouTube Channel (I have never met or contacted this person but he has amazing work).  Stunning visuals and scenery of the Northeast Ceremonial Stone Landscape.  If I'm not mistaken most of the pics are from MA., CT. & RI.  Larry Harrop definitely has some great material.  Check out his work:

1) " Larry Harrop's Slide Show" (about 22 mins) - https://youtu.be/XsYGu0dcaSE

2) "Ceremonial Stones 2" (about 16 mins.  Some of the slides and pics are the same, and some are very different. all worth watching.) https://youtu.be/0DvM0J9aZow

3) "Hilltop Cairns" (about 4 mins) - https://youtu.be/Drh5G5xQzh4

Thank you to this researcher, Larry Harrop, for sharing his work.

Stay tuned for some more YouTube videos in the next few days- I will be sharing the important research of Graham Hancock and Randall Carlson, concerning our ancient past, interviewed by Joe Rogen, followed by a great presentation by Santos Bonacci as we head towards the Winter Solstice.  In my opinion the knowledge these researchers share transcends cultures, communities, space and time.

Holliston, MA. Site Pt 3 (Final)- Quarry Boulder & Bird Effigy

Holliston, MA. Site Pt 3 (Final)- Quarry Boulder & Bird Effigy

Last post about the current Holliston site.  Crossing the brook I came across an interesting looking boulder.  I recognized the boulder as a type of rock people would have used as a resource, and from what I could tell, in my opinion the boulder showed signs of being used for exactly those purposes (obvious chunks appeared to be missing/ chinked out from the surface, etc.)  This is the kind of rock an archaeologist would call a "Quarry Boulder" meaning it was used for resource.  The word "quarry" for me usually invokes more modern, industrialized practices such as splitting rocks with machines and blowing things up, but in this context, "Quarry Boulder" means a rock used for resource by indigenous people, no doubt used for countless generations a little bit at a time, as needed.  This makes me think if there was a certain way that the boulder must have been approached to be used, which could possibly be a subject of a future post.

Not only was this an awesome "Quarry Boulder" but I noticed a shaped stone bird effigy that was worked out from a piece of the rock.

The boulder (perched on top is the bird effigy. I felt a loose stone under the tree root growing on the side of the boulder, picked it up and realized what it was. I put it back after looking at it):

Close-ups of the bird effigy.  The bird has her wings outstretched over her head, as if soaring through the sky.  The profile of the head of the bird is above the base of the stone.  Also, the base of the stone is definitely meant to stand the bird in this soaring position.):

This kind of a stone effigy reminds me of wood carvings, which is a Native Art.  For instance the art of wood carving is alive and well among many Penobscot and Iroquois artisans.  Obviously in the past artisans made stone art similar to the wood art still seen today (in this sort of a style.)  Also I have seen this style of rock effigies before, usually bird stones in this area.  Not far away is a hillside covered with quartz, obviously an ancient "Quartz Quarry" where I noticed a bird stone similar to this one made from quartz.

That wraps up this post.

Split Boulder W/ Wedge, Cairns, & A Possible Native Well- Holliston Site Pt. 2

Split Boulder W/ Wedge, Cairns, & A Possible Native Well- Holliston Site Pt. 2

I tried to balance showing off the bigger features and the smaller features of this site between the first part of the post and this one, although the Dolmen structure may be the most stunning feature of the site- but to put this site in more context the other stone features should be looked at as well.  This whole site is very well obscured by new growth pine trees and brush growing up.  This site is about half-way between the Miller Hill Site in Holliston and the North Mill St. site in Hopkinton, MA.

First is a larger feature, a Split Boulder with a Wedge Insert:

Nearby, a smaller split boulder w/ wedge insert:

Smaller rock at the foot of larger, cone-shaped rock:

Rock on the left, rock on the right:

Below is View A of the Well.  This is my first time coming across what is probably a Native Well.  I have seen wells in the woods before but they were always of colonial or later origin.  Below, I will copy and paste a description of the stone feature of Native Wells that can be found in the Northeast from the website NativeStones.com . The description is as follows;

"Native wells serve as entrances into Mother Earth.  Found frequently in southern New England, they are closely related to the sipapus associated with Anasazi and Puebloan kivas.  While the sipapus of the Southwest are built into the floor of the kivas (which are analogous to the chambers and foundations of the Northeast), the Northeastern wells almost always are located external to the chamber or foundation.  Normally within 100 feet of the chamber/foundation, the well is generally on either a cardinal or solstice alignment from the chamber entrance or the nearest corner of the foundation.  Sometimes multiple wells are found, generally two. Mystery Hill in New Hampshire, for example, possess two wells in the southern part of the complex. Horizontal shafts have been noted which begin around 10 feet below the surface.  Northeastern wells can be 25 or more feet deep, and are almost always circular, around 2.5 feet in diameter." (source, NativeStones.com)

Also from NativeStones.com are some accounts of Native Wells from Connecticut:

John W. Barber, Connecticut Historical Collections 1838 (p.78):
"At Bissell's ferry [in East Windsor], near the mouth of the Scantic river, is a well which is supposed to have been made before any English settlements were attempted in Connecticut. The lower part of the well is walled by stones hewn in a circular manner, and the manner in which they are laid together is believed to be entirely different from that in which any Englishman would lay them - there remains no traditions respecting the time, or the persons by whom this well was constructed."
F. M. Caulkins, History of New London, 1860; p. 69n:
"If conjecture be allowed, we should fix the site [of Rev. Blinman's house on Meeting House Hill on the north side of Granite St.] on the slope of the hill upon the northwest side, nearly opposite Richard Post's lot, where is yet remaining an ancient well on the street side." (source, NativeStones.com)

As we can see this Well from the Holliston site fits the description of a Native Well in being about 2.5 ft in diameter, and is within a site that is clearly associated with other StoneWorks of Native origin.  It doesn't quite look like a watering hole that a later farmer would have made for his animals, nor is this site a good location for grazing livestock, it is too much partially wetland.  In staying true to the description, it is located outside of that Dolmen Structure from last post, (pt 1) and some of the nearby rocks on the ground are in fact probably the remains of foundation stones of structures.

Stay tuned for Part 3 of this site, which is a Quarry Boulder and a wonderfully worked out bird stone idol made from the same material as the Quarry Boulder (a rock used for resource, showing signs of being used/chinked out chunks.)

Stacked Boulder/Dolmen Cave Complex, 'Serpent' Effigy, Cairns, Prayer Seat, Stone Face & More- Fertility Site, Holliston MA. Pt. 1

Stacked Boulder/Dolmen Cave Complex, 'Serpent' Effigy, Cairns, Prayer Seat & More- Fertility Site, Holliston MA. Pt. 1

I came across a site of what I can only describe as a place of strong spiritual energy in the woods of Holliston, MA.  The largest feature of this site is a Dolmen/ Stacked Boulder with an overhang, with space to go under the structure.  The dolmen itself almost appears to look like a small stone chamber structure.  As we will see, I got the impression that this whole area around the site has to do with fertility rites.

The Dolmen Structure:

A shelf-space inside the structure:

The end of the structure, from the back side.  Under the over-hang are three stones.  These are "Magic Stones", as researchers call them, so it is the term I will use.  In the book Manitou- The Sacred Landscape of New England's Native Civilization, authors Mavor and Dix, on page 21, report finding what they believed were Native Magic Stones in their excavations of the Stone Chamber at the Calendar Bowl 1 site.  Through-out the First Nations these stones have associated with them, having been in use for women's fertility rites, and probably broader fertility rites in general:

Outside the Dolmen Structure is this split and worked-out rock, in the shape of an animal effigy, what looked to me as a serpent effigy.  The mouth slit is the prominent split feature, but also notice how the rock was worked out where the eye would be.  In the same town, I have seen this exact same workmanship before here- http://nativenewenglandstones.blogspot.com/2014/12/more-stoneworks-holliston-ma-pt-7.html .  Note the striking similarity in style & workmanship which could not be coincidence, although here, the feature is a smaller scale-size.  In back of this rock feature are the remains of a cairn structure- this is right outside the Dolmen Structure, giving the whole site the feeling of a Complex (which is obviously what this site used to be.):

A couple more of the surrounding cairns (more cairns will be shown in Pt 2 of this site):

This stone structure had the look of a small U-shaped enclosure/ Prayer Seat:

An interesting rock placed in the stone wall with obvious shaped-out features:

A rock stack placed in the wall by somebody, at some point in time, looking like a mini replica of the dolmen:

The Smiling Stone Face Spirit (the rock in the middle):

Close-up of the Smiling Stone Face:

Part 2 will include a large split boulder with inserted wedge, more cairns and boulders, and even possibly a Native Well found in the Stone Wall (a stronger indication of fertility), showing off more features relating to this Complex.  Part 3 will show what archaeologists call a "Quarry Boulder" meaning a large rock that has been picked/ worked out and used for resource, as well as a nicely made bird effigy made from the material of the Quarry Boulder.

Sherborn/Framingham MA. Standing Stone & Interesting Stone Walls

Sherborn/Framingham MA. Standing Stone & Stone Wall Complex

There are many ways into these woods.  There is a small entrance into them in Ashland off of Rte. 126.  When I worked in the Prodcue Dept. of the Ashland Shaw's Market many years ago, I used to ride my bicycle into these woods during my 1 hour break, sit underneath a prominent tree over-looking a wetland and meditate.  Other times I would continue to ride to the Market Basket Plaza by the Ashland/ Framingham town line, and eat lunch buffet at an Indian restaurant next to a Tae-Kwon-Do school.  In those days I was a vegetarian.  Although I am no longer vegetarian, I learned a lot about food from that experience (for instance, to drink Rice Milk instead of Cow's Milk, to spread Hummus on a morning bagel instead of cream cheese, to tolerate eating raw garlic, etc.)

Anyway, lately I have entered these woods from the Sherborn side.  The site with the Standing Stone is wedged between the end of a train yard and some power-lines.  The Standing Stone is on a ledge, at the end of a stone wall that runs to the ledge.  The complex of Stone Walls at this site is also very impressive and I felt it could be part of the Native Ceremonial Stone Landscape as opposed to a later construction.  The Standing Stone attests to this.  Not too far away from here in Framingham is a lake that was important to in-land Nipmuc people in both pre-colonial times as well as the early colonial period.  But back to the site at hand, I took the pictures of the Standing Stone & Stone Walls in late November, around 3:30 in the afternoon.  I noticed a sun-set alignment with the Standing Stone:

The stone has a nice tip from this angle:

From this angle, an interesting two notch marks on the right side of the Standing Stone.  Notice the Stone Wall that runs to the ledge:

More Stone Walls sloping around the ledges:

Finding a site like this is what it's all about.  This site is also nearby to some swamps.

The Gloucester, MA. Sea-Serpent (Cape Ann)

The Gloucester, MA. Sea-Serpent (Cape Ann)

Here is a tale of a New England Sea Serpent, the Serpent of Cape Ann/ Gloucester MA.  I suppose sightings and records of other Sea Serpents exist around Lake Champlain in New York/ Vermont, as well as "Ogopogo" in a lake in British Colombia, Canada.  As a young boy I was always fascinated with the tales of sea serpents, and was aware of the Gloucester Serpent even back then.

One of the first records of a sea-serpent off the shores of Gloucester, MA. was recorded in 1638.  A white settler on board ship was about to shoot it, but there were several local Native people on board, who dissuaded the colonist from shooting it, saying, "if you do not kill the creature out-right, we will all be in danger of our lives".  Below is a YouTube link where this sighting, as well as others, such as the 1817 sightings, is re-counted by a folklorist. (5 mins):

Another link, with some nice original drawings of the Gloucester Serpent (as will as pics of other sea-serpents). 7 mins:

Last is a song that was made about the Gloucester Sea Serpent (2 mins):

From what I have read and heard, the sea serpent is described as being 60-100 ft. long, as wide or maybe wider than a barrel, with a horse-like head and a great horn on top of it's head.  From all accounts this sounds like a Great Horned Serpent of the Americas, which is probably the same basis as the Chinese Dragon, and other such creatures around the world.

We can also glean from the 1638 account of the Gloucester serpent that Native people in the New England were aware of this creature- "if not killed outright, we will all be in danger of our lives", indicating their familiarity with the creature(s).  This lines up with other accounts of large serpents in other parts of the country that could not be killed by bow and arrow (which could easily penetrate through a buffalo), that occasionally harassed communities of Native people.  There probably would have been reverence, and in some cases fear, of such creatures.  If you follow this blog you will notice that serpent symbolism has come up time and again in some of the stone-works (serpent rows, effigies, carvings in boulders, etc.)

It appears there has been no recent sightings of the creature.  One theory about this is, with fishing and commercial boats sailing through the waters of the serpent's traditional territorial waters, it has found other, more evasive roots to travel, avoiding the disturbances of modern industry.  Another thing I have contemplated myself is if such a large creature might hibernate for substantial periods of time, only to re-surface centuries later (much like how frogs hibernate in the winter, but in this case such a creature may hibernate for hundreds of years.)  My feeling is that the Gloucester Serpent and other serpents like it (Champ, Ogopogo) are genuine and are the real deal.  Their serpent bodies probably give off high pulses of electro-magnetic energy (which may sometimes have a paralyzing affect on humans), which may be the original inspiration for indigenous people to build, over a period of thousands of years, things such as meandering stone walls and rows that are aligned to true north, and things of this nature, which subsequently have taken on an energy of their own, or in other words increase the energy of the landscape.
